Voter guide and ballot links

Voter Resources for Central Pennsylvania

Hopefully, by now, Pennsylvanians know who they trust and relate to in this election.  Hopefully, they have done research, asking questions both of the candidates and of themselves.  Hopefully, my friends, neighbors, and members of the community I live in are prepared for the Pennsylvania Primary Electionstomorrow.

However, if you are among those who haven’t yet started your research, I have a couple of resources for you.

Voter guide for Central Pennsylvania

If you are looking for a guide to the relevant issues, check out this voter guide from the Pennsylvania Family Institute.  They have a large list of issues at the local, state, and national level, and candidates’ views on each of the issues.  If you haven’t already done your research, this is a good place to start.

Sample Ballot for the 2012 Pennsylvania primaries tomorrow

If you would like to see a sample ballot, this link has sample ballots for both Republican and Democrat Primaries in each township in Snyder County.

Exercise your rights – Vote! Carefully, thoughtfully, responsibly participate in our American system of government.

See you at the booth,

Dave

  1. Additional resources for ballot research
I need to add two other resources for learning who is on your local ballot. Both of them require only a zip code to get information, but neither is as complete as I would like.
Here is a google election resource that will give you information about who is on your ballot, along with links to social media resources for many of the candidates.
Here is a resource provided by The League of Women Voters for the same purpose.
